“Woody” – 2018 Forest River Wildwood KQBSS.

One boot step into Woody and we knew he was up for an out-west adventure ! (We never expected to get an unused travel trailer in our price range but we happened to find an RV Outlet who had deeply discounted their 2018s!). Woody may be a Rookie but with his new pal, Betty, pulling him along – he’s ready to reach for the sky!

Don’t let the name fool you. This ole girl’s much more than a pretty face. She’s a powerful rock and smart as a whip. Boop oop a doop!

“The Rookies”

When I (Randi) first met Mr B (Brandon) as I call him, he was known as “Rookie”. After 17 years of dating (13 of which we have been married) – I can say he’s not a Rookie at most things! He’s so wonderful and a wise old owl, like I said in our vows :). But we are happy to claim his nickname back and unashamedly call ourselves Rookies!

We have no doubt that many people are going to get happy laughter at our expense – especially in these first months on the road. On a scale of 1 to 10 of what we know about “full timing” as it’s apparently called – we started last month at a 0!!! Hey – maybe we should sell shirts that we can wear anytime we land at or leave a place that say “$10 to watch”!

The Little Rookies…

… are so excited to start this adventure! When we leave they will be ages 12 (“RR”) 8 (“E”) and 7 (“AB”). They have been such troopers this year as we took in our 17-year-old niece for nine months, worked very hard with World Vision, sent mommy to Uganda for a week, and then of course the flood and all they had to endure through that. They have sacrificed a lot of time with us so we could serve others. They have just been amazing and we are so excited to give them the gift of our presence – as we learn and grow together.
