Radio City Music Hall (NYC), Family Time, Happy Thanksgiving!

On Saturday we headed into NYC for the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular – aka – The Rockettes! AB read a babysitter’s club book set in The Big Apple and she has wanted to go back ever since – so she was probably most excited.

It was cold but we tried to walk around a little!

Rockefeller Center:

The tree was still in the process of getting decorated:

We found the NC flag around the rink:

Then it was back inside because us southerners were freezing:

It’s so pretty inside:

Thanksgiving is so late this year so we broke all our traditions and got in the Christmas spirit even before Thanksgiving!

It was such a great show and we each had our own favorite parts…. the reindeer, the figure skaters on stage, nutcracker stuffed dolls, toy soldiers, and the live nativity scene! I contained myself during the nativity scene and didn’t stand up and start praising the Lord to the music! 🙂

We had to head back to Jersey quickly so we could pick up Uncle Ry and Katie at the airport!

We are so thankful to be together again the 14 of us! The last time we were all together was right before the flood.

We have SO much to be thankful for – it’s hard to even say it without being teary eyed.

RyRy & Katie won’t be here for Thanksgiving Day so we celebrated early with them on Sunday:

This year has given us lots of perspective and growth and we are more thankful than ever for our whole family in NC, Jersey, Chicago and all over!

If we’ve learned anything the last 18 months it is that people… relationships… are the only thing that really matter. Everything else is washed away, burned up, or turned to dust eventually… but our relationship with our Savior and our relationships with our loved ones are eternal. We want to focus on building up those treasures in heaven!

Happy Thanksgiving to all !!!

Growing in our relationships is key.
Everything else is headed to dust.
Thankful for you, little sister, and your sweet family.
