Yesterday, our joyful spunky “baby” turned 8! Ever since she knew we’d be in New Jersey for her birthday, she’s been wishing for snow for her day …and…she got her wish!

The cousins had a snow day Monday so it was a perfect day to celebrate AB’s birthday! She had her first special Aunt Roxie cake and loved it!

The girls got her a sweet baby:

And cousin I made the sweetest gift of 8 anklets that matched with Frozen characters:

(We also saw Frozen 2 this week!)

The snow day on Monday was everything AB (and the other 5 kiddos) wanted it to be! Football and snow angels and their first time actually sledding!

RR even got his first chance at snow blowing and loved it:

The gifts kept on coming because Tuesday they had another snow day!

It was so beautiful with that bright blue sky and everything so white!!!

Often the winds knock the snow off the trees and it doesn’t stick like this. It was so gorgeous and Christmasy and we loved it!

We had more football, sledding, and Aunt Roxie even made homemade snow cones.

We love these cuties so much!

For birthday night – AB chose Olive Garden and it just so happened they have a balloon maker on Tuesday nights!

It was a birthday AB will never forget ! We have enjoyed this time with our besties so so much.

AB is such a gift to our family and a true joy. She is spunky, social, and funny. She loves people, is gifted at math, is very athletic, and loves to enjoy food (especially sweets)! She just got her first pair of reading glasses and loves to read the Bible.

She loves Jesus and has such a strong childlike faith. She loves her Mommy and Daddy so much (but especially Mommy and encourages me so much haha)! She loves babysitters club books, the colors orange and green (hence her orange and green crown), her fave movie is Greatest Showman, and fave memory of the year was being with her cousins!

I can’t believe our baby is 8!
