I love that blooper of us trying to get in our spots. Ha . And I love that ornament ! All roads lead home…

We are staying at my parents’ Leland house (for the 3rd time at Christmas – 2011, 2018, 2019) and are so so happy and thankful for this little space for us.

We kept our Christmas Eve traditions…

And then Christmas morning we get up early to open our “boots” since we’ve never had a fireplace with stockings 🙂

My favorite tradition is our Jesus stocking where we each spend quiet time with the Lord and then write Him a note of thanks, love, and thoughts and desires for the new year! This was the first time we all looked back at them all and it was truly touching. I’m so grateful this was saved from the flood waters!

God is so good !!! All the time, every year. Nothing on earth – no experience, no place, no person, no gift (even the best.year.ever like we’ve had!) compares to Him and His love!
